I had this problem also when I changed my Server IP address, to get rid of
it I did the following:
- Stop the iMail Services
- Open "regedit" and did a Find for the IP address to eliminate
- Erase the key and close regedit
- Start iMail services
It didn't appear any more and everything is working well.

Heh... maybe this doesn't affect anything? But the registry entry for
AuthDatabaseDLL says D:\Imail\ODBCUSER.DLL*IMAILSECDB
Is this just a setting 'in case' external is selected? Not used otherwise?
But yes I followed your instructions...

Bryan,
I'm not sure what you are telling me in your message. Are
you saying the IM
Admin shows using the IM DB, but the registry has that
domain showing a
'AuthDataBase' entry that points to the dll path?
Sounds like you did not Save the change after you switched
to the IM DB. I
would do that (change back to ext DB, change to IM DB,
Save). Close IM Admin
and open again. Does it show correct and did Registry
change?
I have seen IMail create new domains (with or without IP)
that default to
the same DB as the primary IP (at least for NT DB, I have
not had an
External for the Primary P, as yet). One MUST set the new
domain to the
'correct' DB and Save. Has always worked for me and anyone
else who has seen
this.
