Imail itself doesn't care one bit about subnet masks - it just binds a
virtual domain to an IP address that exists within the network config's for
the host machine.
But your host machine cares a LOT about subnet masks, and yes, yours will
change UNLESS you are subnetting your class B address range into a bunch of
255.255.255.0 networks anyway. But it sounds as if your IP's will change
regardless.

new machine??
Randy,
Thanks for the info. However, I've just remembered (thanks to your mention
of IP addresses on NICS) that we'll be moving everything, not only to a new
machine, but also to new IP addresses on a completely different subnet, so I
guess it'll be a case of importing registry to new machine after having set
up IPs on NICS then manually changing the relevant IPs per domain from
within Imail administrator?
Please correct me if I'm wrong. We need to change subnet as we've got to
hand back our old C-class subnet allocation to RIPE (European NIC) due to
new, B-class allocation.
