Look very, very carefully in the log file for the 3 or 6 instances of the
msg being sent.
See whether the other SMTPD server failed to complete the SMTP dialog with
Imail's SMTP client, by comparing with log session of msgs sent
successfully and only once.
hypothesis: maybe the other server actually received the msg 3 or 6 times,
but Imail didn't see a complete dialog concluded the msg was not
successfully received.
