Is there some way to restore the registry to a non-functional location on your
hard drive, then copy the Imail section and paste it into the functional copy of
the registry?
Doing an automated daily backup of the Imail registry sounds like a very good
idea. It seems to be as simple as running a daily script which invokes the
"regback.exe" utility which comes with Imail. Some backup software enables you
to run a specific script before backing up up your hard drive to tape each
night; for example, you could run "c:\imail\regback -b c:\imail\backup\imbackup"
