I would recommend to stay away from WebShield SMTP. I tried it out, and it had 2
serious flaws. First, when a user sent an E-mail with a 3meg attachment to 50 people,
WebShield decided to send it out 3 times to everyone (I'm guessing because it couldn't
deliver to the first person in the list). McAfee is expecting it will take 4 days to
get back to me about this.
Second problem was with the outbreak today. Once the first copy of the new virus hit,
I added a rule to block E-mail with the proper subject and/or attachment. That worked
fine. But, once I installed the new .DAT file, it let the virus pass through! Not
only did it not notice it was a virus, it also did not block it. If they let a virus
through 2 filters, both of which should have caught it, the program is almost
worthless. Once I took the new .DAT file out, my "block" caught it again.

Of all the virus scan software offered by Network Associates, what do you suggest is
better to use on an NT server running IMail 6.03?
Dr Solomon NetShield for Windows NT Version 4.0.3
Dr Solomon VirusScan for Windows NT Version 4.0.3
NetShield for Windows NT Version 4.0.3
WebShield SMTP for Windows NT Version 4.5
Is WebShield SMTP included in the NetShield software suite?
