> I thought I was the only one that had problems with Webshield
Nope, there are others!
I was lucky enough to be given about 6 hours notice before going live with our E-mail
system that someone "up above" had decided we should use WebShield. So I had all of
about 3 minutes to test it on a test machine, and about 5 minutes to install and test
on the live machine. After several days, it turned out that it wasn't sending all
E-mail out. By default during installation, it will send local mail to the local mail
server, and do nothing with other mail. You have to enable DNS lookups in WebShield
to have it send outgoing E-mail.
As far as I know, there is no way for WebShield to send all E-mail to IMail, so that
IMail can handle it. That would have taken care of the problem with WebShield sending
out 300 megabytes of duplicate E-mails!
