are you using mySQL NT?
Here's something to try... FORWARDslash instead of a backslash. yes, I know
it sounds wrong, but it just may work. I use mySQL and in my cnf file
there's a line that reads
temp=c:/temp (not temp=c:\temp like you think it should be). it took me
five weeks to figure this one out.
this leads me to think that mySQL uses forward slashes. IMHO, MYsql NT is a
poor NT port of a unix app.

Is anyone using IMAIL 6.03 and MYSQL external database? I have IMAIL 6.03
installed and using Mike Nice's ODBCUSER.DLL. I can create the table and
users just fine, but the path in fieldname USERDIR does not get created
properly. When a user is added, the USERDIR field looks like this
D:vdomainsdovermailusers<username>
It should look like this
D:\vdomains\dover\mail\users\<username>
What happens is that when an email is sent to the account, it creates a new
folder in the root of my "D" Drive that looks like this
D:vdomainsdovermailusers<username> instead of the path
D:\vdomains\dover\mail\user\<username>. The domains Top directory is
specified as D:\vdomains\dover\mail.
On a side note, I can set these domains up using Imail's database and
everything works fine, But, I need to use MYSQL as my database.
Anyone with ideas or suggestions?
