Greetings,        Is this also true if you change the mail server host name??? I know that when you install Imail that it grabs the host name of the machine. I'm intending on setting up IMail on a network segment that already has a mail server. I would like to change the name of the IMail machine after I get everything up and have migrated the accounts. Basically, I would like to change both, the IP and the hostname. Would I have to reinstall or is there a way?? I am just wondering if I add an IP to my NT server if IMAIL would then be accessable or is it restricted to the IP address entered? Imail will listen on all ip addresses it finds in the NT tcp/ip settings.  And it also writes the NT ip's to the Imail registry. Imail does not erase the ip address from its registry when you remove an ip from the NT tcp/ip.  You have to remove the ip's from the Imail registry with regedit.  Search the ipswitch knowledge base for how to do it.
