I've never seen any POP3D instances on my log files since I've installed
IMail and yes I do have the settings for logging of that service...go
figure?

We just need to have some record in case someone comes over and says I never
received that e-mail...then I'll have proof if they did or didn't, etc.

well, that's what I have and I see POP3D lines plus SMTP and SMTPD lines,
so go look at yours carefully, stop/start POP3 service.

It should be intermixed like this snippet:

In my http://IMDeliver.MEIway.com, I was only interested in extracting SMTP
traffic, not POP3 traffic.  But the PERL in there could be adapted to
extract the POP3D lines to a file to be imported to Access for reporting on
POP3 traffic.
