Just in case anyone missed this post...
Here's a possible workaround:
In Imail Administrator go to that specific list's security tab.
Enable password and then type in a dummy password
Disable password again and you'll see the dummy password still in the field
but grayed out.
Apply and refresh IAdmin.
Poster's list should now work as you want
