If there are not too many of them like this, open the file in a plain
text editor. Notepad will work. PFE is better. Highlight the contents
and copy to clipboard. Open target file in same editor. Paste contents
at the end. Save file. Delete corresponding .uid file in users folder.

A pain, but it works.
