Len,

They do not need SMTP AUTH to send to any user on your server, email. Auth
will be needed to allow them to send to other domains, via your server.

I think you would be better going to 6.03+Auth, ASAP. When 6.04 is available
(soon?!), you can patch within a few minutes. But, you call the shots with
your own server. If you can wait a few days or a week, I think 6.04 will be
available in that time (this is just a GUESS!!!!).
