Scott, I'm using SSL in web messaging v602 (POP, IMAP, and non-SSL web messaging are disabled). It works like a charm. We've never encountered the problem that you describe below. Before I got my Verisign certificate, I used the self-signed cert for about a month. Both worked fine.
