New install of imail on windows 2000 server. Both smtp patch and 6.03 patch
applied.
Full name is mail.maindomain.com. This mail host works fine as far as I
can tell. Has an A record in DNS to point mail.gaymail.com to 64.32.195.27
Added virtual host: mail.overlooked.com.
Added mx record in overlooked.com DNS which points mail.overlooked.com to
mail.maindomain.com
Added mx record in overlooked.com DNS which points
overlooked.com to mail.maindomain.com
Added A record in overlooked.com which points mail.overlooked.com to
mail.maindomain.com
mail.maindomain.com host has only two users and no alias other than
postmaster
Virtual IPless host (overlooked.com) has only one user.
Problem: Overlooked.com virtual host can send but cannot receive email
Problem: mail.overlooked.com does not take me to the mail.gaymail.com.
DNS looks good but it cannot find server
please advise
