Hi, Knowing how resource hungry SQL 7 can be you are probably best to install it on a different machine. One tip I have found works best is to use TCP/IP as the connection protocol rather than the default named pipes (Originally in Wrox SQL Server 7 book). You change this in the DSN wizard by pressing the 'Client Configuration' button then selecting TCP/IP. Also make sure the account that Imail runs has the right access on the other machine.
