Make sure that you have created a "system DSN" not a user DSN, also make sure you get the updated dll from mike nice. Do a search on google on "Imail sql dll" and it shoudl turn up. Imail will create its own tables, you do not need to set them up first.  If you are using sql, make sure that you pass the user id, password and dabtabase name (assuming sql authentication not nt authentication). Check external database settings."   Any suggestions?   Scott
