Perfectly normal to see this when viewing a mailbox file in a plain text
editor! All email with attachments, have this just statement, before the
attachment!

Actually, there are no problems with IMail and attachments. Most likely, is
a problem with the client that is constructing the message (it is what does
the encoding [are you using MIME?, you should be!] before sending the
email). Or the receiving client is not set correctly to decode the MIME
attachment.

If you use IMail Client on the server to view the mailbox (do not fill out
anything in the POP3 section, select domain and user from drop down menus!),
does this show the message and allow you to 'Detach' the attachment? If it
does, then the email and mailbox is fine.
