Reference your supervisors questions and queries about spamming. You could
refer her to Mike Nice's posting "[IMail Forum] OT: Face to the spammer".
You could also point her to any number of references on the web. I think
though that the easiest explanation would be to compare how crooks forge
credit cards and then impersonate (spoof) the true card holders. It cost
the credit card industry millions and they've been trying to stop it for
years. Another alternative would be to spoof her email and send her a
message to herself from herself. let her observe you doing it so she can
see what it entails. Perhaps someone on the list could spoof a fictional
address (say heaven) and send her a message from say god.

Subject: [IMail Forum] bad list address

> ok. my question is...
> When I create a listserv, unfortunately when there is a bad email address
in the list, it kept sending out the same email message to everybody on the
list (around twenty times or so). This is very annoying. Is there anyway to
solve this problem???

into Imail and send spam using accounts like administrator...

spam from there...) this is very unsecure. She doesn't understand how the
spammer send out the SPAM. how do they send that out that many emails???
from my understanding, spammers are not actually logging into (cracking
passwords) our server. It is using mail programs like the one in Netscape
and IE that provides SMTP and don't check for username and password. am I
correct?

keep using this mail server... we should switch.....
