That certainly doesn't look like an SMTP AUTH failure.

Here's what a good SMTP AUTH logs like:

08:08 07:31 SMTPD(6F5F0080) [212.73.210.79] EHLO sv.Go2France.com
08:08 07:31 SMTPD(00000079) Authenticated lconrad, session treated as local.
08:08 07:31 SMTPD(6F5F0080) [212.73.210.79] MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
08:08 07:31 SMTPD(6F5F0080) [212.73.210.79] RCPT
TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Note that the SMTP AUTH is performed by a different SMTPD process than the
one handling the main dialog.

Some Exchange expert needs to say definitively how to turn SMTP AUTH in the
Exchange internet connnector.
