Hotmail no doubt sets the base target="somenewname" in the HEAD section.
When looking at hotmail, view source and study the HEAD section. if using
the frames version of hotmail be sure to look at the frame containing the
content of the messages
Personally I never call a new window "new" - too often will load into an
existing window. I make up unique names whenever possible.
