Just to add to the 6.04 install failure experiences:
I tried it and saw the install stick at 0% and the disk drive was
grinding away the whole time. I cancelled it after 10 minutes.
I set the services at startup to "Manual", rebooted, and got the same
thing.
[Not a happy camper...it's an hour's trip to get to the server. I
prefer to be physically present on an upgrade in case I need to disconnect
from the network to backtrack.] --
