Johan,

We had the exact same issue and by just upgrading the ODBCUSER.DLL file it
cured it all.

Best of luck!
Jeremy

Subject: [IMail Forum] 3000 domains - too many?

Hello!

We are running iMail 5.08 on a Netfinity 5000 machine (PIII 500 and RAID 5)
which connects to a similar machine running MS SQL 7.0.

We currently have some 3000+ domains wich approx 10-15 accounts each on our
server. It of course uses the SQL server to store the user data.

Our problem is now that more and more we are getting complaints that our
users gets the message "error invalix uidl" or "error invalid
userid/password".

Neither the iMail server nor the SQL server seems to be pushed too much as
the CPU rarely averages over 20%.

Could it be that the SQL server simply cannot send over the info fast enough
to iMail and thus imail thinks it does not exist or? If so is there a time
that can be set as to how long iMail should wait for a response before
sending over that the user does not exist?

Thanks for any help!

Sincerely,

Johan
