We are currently running Dual-500 with 500MB RAM/ 90GB RAID. The
utilization is typically very low across the board (like sub 5% range). We
are working with Ipswitch now and they have responded well for once so that
is good. I am going to check into specific activity previously mentioned
and will keep you updated if I solve it.
Just one last question, how many users are most people supporting per box?
I talked to the folks at myownemail.com which runs Imail and they are into
the multi-million user area but I dont know how many machines. This would
be a great help.

hmm, sounds like you'e come to the end of that chapter. but I agree
80K users is not to be trifled with.

Mike Nice's driver has become Imail's official ODBC driver.

to simplify, can you stop those just to see if it settle back down?
That really isn't too much for POP3 and SMTP on that leve of machine,
but if you're also running web msging, then the resource requirement
goes way up. I don't know how nasty Imap4 is.
