This is just a reminder that the "Early Adopters Discount" on Declude
JunkMail ( http://www.declude.com ), the spam control program for IMail,
ends on Friday.
Declude JunkMail incorporates a number of tests (including
RBL/DUL/RSS/ORBS lookups), and lets you choose from many different actions
(deleting the E-mail, adding various warnings, holding the E-mail in a
temporary directory, etc.). Best of all, it eliminates most complaints
about spam control (censorship, legality, etc.), as it allows the end user
to choose what spam control options should apply to their account!
In the works is a unique "heuristic spam detection" feature (not even
found in the $5,000+ anti-spam programs) that automatically detects spam
based on how closely it matches patterns of existing spammers. While
filters will delete a lot of legitimate E-mail (especially solicited
commercial E-mail, such as E-mail from your bank), the heuristic approach
will NOT delete those legitimate E-mails.
