Daniel, I think you forgot to type something? I don't see any new text in
this message. :)

Stephen,
Is there also one from 'you' to me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). I used SMTP and
connected to your system and forged one message to myself and it should have
been delivered by now, but I've not seen it yet. If it is still there and it
has had at least one delivery attempt, please include the log for that
delivery attempt.
If you open Task Manager and observe the Processes, sort by name and count
how many SMTP32.EXE you see. If it is zero or a small number, OK. If it is a
large number (30 or close to that), then something is not allowing these
sessions to close in a timely fashon and you might want to either restart
the machine, or run 'kill smtp32' (get kill.exe from NT resource kit) to
stop all the delivery processes, so you can start with none. Now send a new
message and you should see a SMTP32 process start, deliver the message and
close. Using the Queue 'Send One' (highlight a message, then click Send
One), you should see the same kind of action. If IMail actually delivers the
message, the number of messages in the queue should go down (and that file
name should disappear from the list and not reappear).
