You need to have MDAC 2.5 or higher loaded on the server in order to connect
to an Access 2000 database.

Indeed that helped! Here's a new problem with the same database. I've
noticed IMail 6.0 will not accept Access2000 ("unrecognized database
format") but will accept Access97. I ran both IMail 6 patches but no luck. I
had hoped, since IMail 6 is reputed to run under Windows2000, that it would
accept the Access2000 format. Is there some kind of fix available?
