I was having the standard Imail 6.04 spool problem, wherein it would (on a twice-daily basis) stop sending mail and the only way to fix was to remove the paired mail files from the spool and place them back in slowly, removing any that caused SMTP32 to Dr Watson.
The solution for me was to stop using nested group aliases.
For whatever reason, IMail didn't like the way I had a few of my aliases set up. For example, our support alias worked like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (group alias)
--> [EMAIL PROTECTED] (group alias)
--> 10 local users
--> [EMAIL PROTECTED] (group alias)
--> 8 local users
--> 4 local users
My solution was to stop using the teir2 and teir3 aliases and simply have all users listed in the group alias in a flat way:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
--> 22 local users
Don't know if anyone else has a similar alias setup, but moving to flat aliases has worked for me.
