OK, that's getting closer. I now get an error back from PWS saying that I
should check the Event Log. When I do so there's a message that reads:
"Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
http://localhost - Error #160005 Message: Bad response from SMTP
host'arizona': 501 unacceptable mail address ."
I've used the Server Extensions Administrator to set the SMTP host and
required e-mail addresses. The values I used are the same ones that work
just fine for other e-mail tools on this machine. I've tried a variety of
other combinations of IP addresses, etc., none of which seem to work.
Any other ideas?

FrontPage Extensions are required if you are using FrontPage as your Web
Design tool, and want to upload without FTP and/or want to use any of the
advanced features/components of FrontPage (e.g. Form Submissions).
Instructions come with the FrontPage Extensions on how to configure them
from MMC. You should definitely study the FrontPage Server Extension
Resource Kit (SERK) which is available online at the Microsoft site. For
Form Submissions you'll have to make sure, that you specify an SMTP server
and a few other self-explaining parameters.
If you are NOT using FrontPage - then you don't need the extensions and you
can use .ASP or Perl or other scripting languages to process your forms on
the server.
