For those of us who have not gone to 6.05 yet, do we have to run .05 patch
and THEN the .05a or can we just run the .05a?

Dear IMail Forum:

A problem was found in the IMail Server 6.05 SMTP32.exe process and it was
felt that it required our immediate attention.  A loop condition can be
triggered when IMail's outbound SMTP connection is refused by the receiving
server.  A potential effect of this problem is that the SMTP log file could
grow to be extraordinarily large.

A patch is currently available for IMail Server 6.05 at:

ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/Ipswitch/Product_Support/IMail/imail605a.exe
