I am having a lot of complains from the customers using the webmail
interface when they click on the attachments to download them to the local
hard drive, mostly with M$ Excel files. When they click on the attachment
link they are redirected to a webpage with unloaded graphics (I mean the
icon that you get when the image didn't load correctly for any reason) and
a message that says "No Such Attachment". I tried to download the
attachment using the "Shift" key on my keyboard when I click on the link
and saved the file to my hard drive. When I opened the downloaded file with
M$ Excel I got the same message "INSIDE" the content of the file (AMAZING).
The content of the Excel file was "No Such Attachment".
I have the IMail installed on a dedicated Raid 5 set of Hard Drives and I
create a new directory for each new mail domain that I create on IMail. As
an example if I am going to create the domain "mail.testings.com" I create
a folder under the root folder of IMail called mail.testings.com and there
is where I point the Top Directory. Is this a bad practice? I think it
isn't but somehow my customers are having that problem when they click on
the attachment link.
Does anybody can give me some light to solve this?
