Walter,
Each service in IMail has its own settings, so SMTP could have had its
settings changed. That could stop it from logging or directed the service to
log elsewhere.
Even if your settings 'look' right, please change it, then Apply, then
stop/start SMTP service. Now reset to desired, Apply, stop/start SMTP
service and observe log file. Working now?
The logs shown, seem to indicate the Syslog service was running on 11/08 and
not on 11/09. Please make sure the IMail Sys Log service is running and that
is in the setting for those services you wish to log. Or use/look for the
'sysMMDD.txt' files instead, if you find that is your current setting.
Basically, I think you changed some settings (maybe without realising it?)
and now you are seeing the effect of that change.

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMail stops logging to log????.txt
Hello all,
Our IMail server has stopped logging SMTP info to log????.txt.
Why?
All other logs are working fine and they grow in daily basis.
Last working log file is 3 days old. Last 2 days log sizes are:
log1108.txt 172bytes
log1109.txt 90bytes
Log1107.txt (working) is 203k
When looked inside of those 2 not working ones, following is found:
log1108.txt
d:\imail\spool\log1108.txt
Log directory d:\imail\spool
Log directory d:\imail\spool
SYSLOGD 991001, Copyright 1994-1999, Ipswitch, Inc.
20001108 125006 0.0.0.0:514 Server ready for action
log1109.txt
d:\imail\spool\log1109.txt
Log directory d:\imail\spool
Log directory d:\imail\spool
Log directory d:\imail\spool
There is enought free space on drive D: and all other logs are working.
Please tell me why these aren't.
Tnx.
