Post.Office provides only token support to their NT product as
compared to their *nix versions. We had an unlimited license
version of the Post.Office product (we had used it since the dawn
of time) and left it because of the poor NT support.
While IMail has certainly had its share of problems, it works.
Post.Office for NT stopped working for us somewhere around 6,000
users. It crashed often (including one case where user data was
corrupted) and it had a serious problem when communicating with
Microsoft mail products (all of them: Inbox, Outlook, Outlook
Express, etc.) that often resulted in locked mailboxes requiring
manual intervention.
We have never regretted the change to IMail. The only relative
weekness (as someone else noted) is in the list serve functions.
However, if you have heavy duty list requirements you should
probably be looking at some dedicated software anyway.
