I have a problem in that I use a third party supplier for sms messaging. In
offering this service to our customers we issue them with a current email
address on our service. We then forward any messages received in these
mailboxes to their equivalent mobile phone address with our supplier. The
problem I have here is that Imail sends the original senders email address
and not our address to the sms provider. Is there any way to change this? By
the way if we forward 10 messages, 3 will work and 7 will be rejected, and
all of these messages originate from the same external account.
The other issue is global domain rules. The same supplier will send back a
notification of success or failure which because the ORIGINAL email address
is not ours goes back to our customer. We want to trap all of these messages
coming back in, delete all the ones that are successful and send all the
error ones to our support account. I have accessed al of the info available
on this issue in the support section but we can still not make this work.
Any ideas.
