just saw your answer today, sorry for the delay.
Uuummm, this timeout happens irrespective of whether the user seds mail from
their domain to another domain on our server, or to another domain somewhere
else (even to another user within the same domain on my server!).
This is weird.
The users use Win98 and Outlook 2000.
I use IMAIL 6.05 retail version.
