[IMail Forum] log file help

I'm trying to decypher the Imail logs for programming project.  The
manual & kb say *.GSC and *.GSE are error messages from postmaster. 
However in the sysmmdd.txt log entries they appear to be web-based
message related.  Which is correct?  and what is the difference between
GSC and GSE files?
