I do not know how you would strip the reply-to address, but you could send
the message to a program alias and have that fire off blat or imail1.exe
that does the reply...
just a thought...

Subject: [IMail Forum] creating an autorespond rule
I would like to create a rule which will recognize the virus, "creative.exe"
attachment, delete it, and respond to the sender that their message never
reached the user as it contained a virus.
I have not been having any luck. I've been able to get it deleted with no
problem, but not to send an autorespond back to the sender.
I've put the rule in the Imail directory to send any message with the
attachment creative.exe to the virus folder. I then have a virus.fwd file
which sends it to the user virus_delete which is supposed to autorespond but
the autorespond ends up going to the user virus_delete instead of the
original sender.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Preston
