Tim I too have the problem that Edgar addresses. The change in the registry will prevent the creation of sub-mailboxes. It also breaks the copy sent message to its own folder feature in webmail, causing some of my users to vent at us for breaking stuff. Submail box creation should be a manual process that can't be done by sending an e-mail. For the users who don't use web mail (and web mail is a performance drain), these sub-boxes go unnoticed and take up room on the mail server. It is a bit of a problem. Edgar - on the bright side, the content in those unwanted mail boxes make's great kill file material for blocking/filtering spam if you choose to do so. ************************************* Wayne Smith, CNE/MCSE/CCNP/CCDP Computer Resources ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim D" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 10:52 AM Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] STOP SUB-BOX CREATION BY SPAM!! > At the bottom of the imail.pdf file (documentation) it mentioned there was a > way to change the character used to create a mailbox like that in the > registry. > > Hope it works for you.
