This is another point where there is a real choice between Declude
and IMGateAV. IMGate does per domain relaying, so IMgate can relay
domain traffic
to the IMGateAV for scanning and IMGateAV relays to Imail, or IMGate
can bypass IMGateAV and relay directly to Imail.
Per domain scanning is useful if you want to charge for AV scanning.
We are charging about US$45/month per 200 megabytes of SMTP traffic
(about 10K msgs @ 20 Kbytes/msg), unlimited mailboxes, unlimited
domains. ie, it's a per client charge, even if the client has 10
domains, we count that client's total SMTP traffic through IMGateAV
with the maillog summarizer/stats that comes with IMGate.
