Andrew,
Timeouts should unlock the mailboxes in about an hour. This trick usually
works:
Stop services that affect mailboxes (SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, Web MSG) then start
them again. Much faster then restart of computer (which should also clear
all locks).
Info about updates is online in KB and in ntimsvc.txt found in \imail dir
(or in the program group, Release notes).
