We have a client that is having trouble sending
email through our IMail =
server, and I can't see why they should have any problem. They can = receive email just fine, but when they try to send mail, they = immediately get this error message: The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's = e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'. = Subject 'Re: Incomplete App.', Account: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]', Server: = 'mail.bcwebhost.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 4.7.1 Please = try again later', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error = Number: 0x800CCC78=20 Background: We use IMail 4.7 and have lots of other accounts that work = fine. Our server is mail.bcwebhost.net. The client is using Outlook = Express, and is linking through CompuServe. I checked the sys logs, and = I can't find any connection strings for this client, which makes me = wonder if they're being stopped at CompuServe, or at the desktop. I = walked them through their Outlook Express settings over the phone, and = those appear to be normal. Any ideas? Thanks! Ben Bednarz BC Web |
