Craig,
There is a DNS problem. That is the usage of a CNAME in the MX record. Here
is what I find:
premiumpromotionsusa.com.
nameserver = NS.DAYTONMACHINETOOL.COM.
nameserver = NS2.DAYTONMACHINETOOL.COM.
207.223.80.101
10, mx.premiumpromotionsusa.com.
mx.premiumpromotionsusa.com.
alias = mail.daytondigital.net.
mail.daytondigital.net.
207.223.80.135
IMail will work with this, but I have no idea if Exchange will. But RFCs say
this technique should not be used.
As for your error message, That is coming from Exchange and the one about
'Relay' could be a clue.
When I connect to the host above I can send email. Here is the data:
220 mail1.noc.daytondigital.net InterScan VirusWall NT ESMTP 3.4 (build
1231a) r

ehlo text
250-mail1.noc.daytondigital.net supports the following ESMTP extensions:
250 SIZE 0
mail from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
250 [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Sender Ok
rcpt to:
250 [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Recipient Ok
So I suspect the problem is the Exchange server and its Relay settings or
the DNS problem.
