Paul,
Just a wild guess, but are you using the NT or external database for users
in IMail?
IMail uses TCPIP for all connections, so I don't understand why NDIS error
is occuring, but that is a clue. Check Event Logs for any and all errors and
warnings and get them resolved before using IMail. Can you tell us more
about the error that is reported (that NDIS one)?
Are the users using POP3 or IMAP4 for reading their messages?
Can you provide more info about the problem domain, the hostname and IP used
by the IMail computer? That will let us in the forum, check DNS and your
system.
To be perfectly honest, I've never heard or seen IMail cause a BSD in over 5
years of working with it. That makes me think that the problem is not IMail,
but some other thing on the system.
IIS does install its own SMTP service, and your should stop/disable that so
it does nto conflict with IMails SMTP service (just in case you did not
know).
