Court,

In IMail Administrator, Localhost, General tab, Add hosts button, select
that IP, does it show both aliases or just one (which one)? If both are
shown, you can remove the second one right there. If both not seen, then
find the host which has the other alias (there should be one!). If you do
find it, then these 2 domains are 'cross-linked' and need to be fixed
(probably by registry editing).

Is the 'space' shown in your email, in the alias (between com and .ar)
really there or just a typo on your part? If real, it should not be there.

The IP you indicate, shows a PTR record as 'unassigned.' and is not
responsive to Ping (not good if IMail is really using that IP!). Is this Ip
'real' and used by that machine? Is it an 'old (unused)' IP?

Checking DNS for the domain 'redomega.com' reveals no A, MX, or SOA and
just 2 NS records. This is NOT good! There is no way to resolve this (or the
mail.!) to an IP, so no one can connect to it.

What do you mean by: '...about 35 of my accounts have this and the rest
don't....'? Do you mean 35 of your domains, rather than accounts (which
means 'user accounts' to me)?

If that name is not one of your domains or part of one of the domains, then
I have no idea why IMail sould put information there, that it does not
'know'. This would make me thing that you are suffering from some kind of
registry corruption. Is NT set to allow more space than the current registry
uses? If not, that can lead to problems!

Subject: [IMail Forum] registery question

List:

I'm in the registery editing the domains. When i click on an ip for example
64.23.74.60

it says for alias key "mail.redomega.com .ar yfestival.com"

this domain belongs to mail.redomega.com it is working right but what is the
.ar yfestival.com? I don't have any domains that are this, about 35 of my
accounts have this and the rest don't what is going on here?
