Steve,
Could be a DNS problem, but sounds more like your domain definitions in
IMail. In particular the 'Top Directory' should be unique for each domain in
IMail or those that share the same directory, share users mailbox locations.
So if 2 (or more) domains share the same TopDir, then email for a particular
user (regardles of the part after the @) go to the same mailbox. That would
give the symptoms you describe.
As for DNS, each domain should have an MX record that points to a hostname
(that is used by IMail) and that hostname needs an A record to point to the
IP (again, that used by IMail for the above hostname). Check Archive on this
