We have the same issue starting from early December, crashes 3 or 4 times a
week, luckily we are running on W2K and at lesat I can set the service to
auto restart on a failure in the W2K Service Control Manager..
Doesnt get rid of the issue but at least gets most of the users of my back
:-))
Logs etc etc all other suggestion have made no difference or even truned up
any problem.. we only know it dies when some tries to login.

I doubt it... I am so sick of Imail Webmail.. We have looked and looked
at our NT 4.0 (SP6) server and the web messages keeps crashing for a
reason we have still yet to figure out. We are running 6.05 version of
Imail. I am going to see if we can switch to a stable webmail called
Dmailweb on Solaris. Our webmail crashes on average once a day, and
since we can't use the monitor (since we dont like 100% CPU utilization
anytime it tries to restart the service already started) we are pretty
much screwed..
Maybe i can write my own webmail monitor service for the server to
restart the service.. I know i can atleast write stable software that
won't create a 100% CPU load utilization issue.
