Tom,

After 1 year and a half, and severals patches installed on my server,
IPSWITCH have been unable to make smtp auth to work properly. If they can't
find a solution for this problem, maybe programing another smtp process will
help.

After the last patch, smtp auth stops and restart after a few minutes.
