Dan,

were you running emumail on your system when you migrated to Imail?  Really, setting up all the new accounts is easy, I'm just worried about loosing clients inboxes when changing the extension name, but if it's that easy, then I'll take your word for it.

Thanks!

Thank you Daniel,

I had a small problem finding the knowledge base but I found my problem.  It was just way to easy.

All I had to do to migrate was change the ext to mbx instead of mbox on the mail files.  I haven't tried to move an account with multiple folders yet but I do not see to much trouble with that.

If you figure this out, please let me know, I am running EMUMail on my server currently, and would like to migrate to IMail without loosing any users mailboxes.  I run IMail on another server an totally love it.

thanks

Subject: [IMail Forum] Migrating email

I have not seen anything in the manual about migrating from another email server.  I am currently running Communigate Pro by Stalker software and was thinking on moving to imail.  Is there a way to transfer the .mbox files (communigate) to .mbx format of imail so I do not loose any stored mail?

Any help would be appreciated

Dan
