Jeff,

Did you get my null sender test message (you should have!)? Are the logs now
free of the error message? They should be! So it looks like you did complete
the needed steps to 'fix' the 'problem'.

I have seen a few instances where IMail Administrator does not show the
'correct' settings and each time it has happened, my 'fix' has worked. I
believe the 'problem' is that the user is making some change and not
completing the needed steps to enable the change (Apply, then stop/start the
service). Without documentation (registry settings before and after) I
cannot say for sure if there is or is not a 'problem' in IMail.
Unfortunately, I have failed to request this info, before suggesting the
'fix', in the attempt to get people running ASAP. So, I have no proof of a
problem, but a sure fire 'fix' for what appears to be a 'cockpit error'. I
don't mean to say that you screwed up, but I cannot say that IMail screwed
up, either. Yes, I would be 'best' if IMail Admin showed the 'current and
enabled' settings.

BTW, your DNS still has a CNAME in the MX record!!

Daniel Donnelly
