Josh,
you
arent running I-mail on a Win2K box are you?
If so,
you need to deal with the LDAP service port number, as it conflicts with Win2k
by default. However, we have yet to make it work with our Win2K
server....

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] LDAP not workingJosh,You probably need to check the server requires a login, and then enter your login info. Also check the box for Check E-mail Address with this directory. Other than that everything looks fine. You may also want to try Ldapper to re-populate your database.Ross AndersonStrategists. Subject: [IMail Forum] LDAP not workingI've just setup IMail for the first time, and I can't get LDAP to work. The service is running, the users have attributes set, they are not hiding from information services. Within Outlook express and netscape messaging I've setup the directory service to look to the mail server (mail.caut.ca) for LDAP info. In Outlook, I added objectclass="person" in the advanced properites, per KB document IM-19980116-DD07. But nothing. All I get is a message that there are no matches to my criteria. How can I tell if the LDAP server is actually working? What do I need to do to properly connect? Thanks for helpJosh
