I'd still say you need to install IMail on the new computer. Yes, copying
the services hives will get you the needed registry entries, but, I would
say that is an 'untested' install method you are using. No reason the needed
files could not be put on the remote (assuming you have the capabilities of
doing that), then run the install from the remotes local HD. It is pretty
fast that way and you now have a copy of the software, for future needs,
local backup, etc....
Also note that using registry files, when the IPs of the 2 computers is
different could require editing of the reg files, before using on the new
computer. This too, is explained in the KB, in articles about changing
domains from/to virtuals w/wo IP addresses.
